OFFICE PROTOCOL DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
On July 1, 2020, the Commonwealth of VA moved into Phase III for re-opening of VCE local offices and providing face-to-face programs once again. The VCE Hanover office is open to walk-in clientele and continue with virtual programs. We encourage all homeowners with questions related to plants, insects and wildlife to look on the extension website, email Hanover Master Gardeners or call 804-752-4306. Most plant, weed and insect identification can be done by sending a picture via email.
We urge you to take all necessary steps to stay healthy and follow guidelines outlined by local health departments. We look forward to continuing to serve the community in new and innovative ways. Please see the COVID-19 resource page above. Due to Executive Order 63 anyone aged five and over must wear a mask covering the nose and mouth when entering, exiting, traveling through, and spending time inside the VCE Hanover Office as described and recommended by the CDC. Please refer to the Commonwealth of Virginia Govenor's listing of executive actions for further clarification.
